Veronique Wantz Gallery is excited to show works by Owen Brown who was taught in the figurative tradition, but also works rather abstractly. With degrees from Yale and the University of Chicago, he studied painting in the 1980s at California College of Arts in Oakland, California, where his teachers included Philip Morsberger and Jack Mendenhall. After many years a resident of San Francisco, he moved to Minneapolis in 2016.
